TMJ disorders are underestimated but many individuals are indeed affected. TMJ imaging is also underestimated and not in the focus of many radiologists. However, the TMJ is a classic joint with joint surfaces, articular cartilage, a meniscus, joint capsule and ligaments. Sounds familiar to you as a MSK radiologist?
